Excited to celebrate that Kato won the Best in Customer Discovery Award ($3K) from the Dingman - Lamone Center for Entrepreneurship for the Pitch Dingman Competition, Luby Idea Track! As someone who commutes to campus (still surprises people!), I’m often asked how I became so invested in a project like Kato. The answer, put simply, is the people. The teammates I collaborate with and the students at University of Maryland we support through their housing search make this work as rewarding as it is. Wholeheartedly, I couldn’t have asked for better teammates: Adam Pouliot, Nidhin Gangisetty, and Williama Carver. Thank you to the Dingman-Lamone Center for hosting a wonderful event and to the judges, teams, students, and families who joined us.
