Biology (2017–2020) * Marshall University School of Pharmacy — PharmD (2020–2024) * PGY1 Pharmacy Residency — Beckley VA Medical Center (2024–2025) 🔬 Presentation Title A Retrospective Evaluation of Payer Compliance with State Law Regarding Coverage of Pharmacogenomic Testing for Oncology Patients 💡 Research Spotlight Pharmacogenomic (PGx) testing continues to transform oncology by enabling more precise and effective treatment decisions. Despite its clinical value, insurance coverage has historically posed significant barriers for patients. With the implementation of Kentucky’s Biomarker Bill (House Bill 180, 2023)—legislation requiring insurers to cover biomarker and PGx testing—this research evaluates a key question: 👉 Are payers complying with the law as intended? Early findings reveal notable gaps in coverage, underscoring the ongoing need for advocacy, policy awareness, and equitable access to precision oncology tools. 📰 Featured in the News The findings of this project were recently highlighted in: “Coverage Gaps Remain for Oncology PGx Tests in Kentucky, Despite State Law”  (Precision Medicine Online) Tiffany continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to improving patient outcomes through research, innovation, and leadership in pharmacy practice.
