🌟 PGX Resident Spotlight Series : Darcie Evans, PharmD 🌟 As we get ready for the PGX Residency Showcase this week, we’re excited to feature Darcie Evans.    Darcie earned her PharmD from Auburn University and completed her PGY1 residency at the VA in Walla Walla, Washington. She is currently completing her PGY2 residency in Clinical Pharmacogenomics at the Durham VA.   🧬 Research Sneak Peek: Darcie’s research examines the impact of SLCO1B1, ABCG2, and CYP2C9 pharmacogenomics on statin-associated muscle symptoms in a Veteran population. Her study included over 6,000 Veterans with abnormal SLCO1B1 function, helping advance our understanding of how pharmacogenomics can support safer, more personalized statin therapy for Veterans.   We’re excited to see Darcie present her work at next week’s showcase — she’s truly doing some outSTATIN’ research in the world of precision medicine! 💊✨
