An important milestone - The first customer project of our JAF Current Transformer with eco-friendly N2/O2 insulating gas PFIFFNER has developed a new high-voltage instrument transformer that is fully insulated with synthetic air instead of oil or SF₆. Together with our customer EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG, this pilot project marks a clear commitment to innovative, future-oriented solutions in power transmission. Its successful implementation demonstrates that high-performance instrument transformers can be realized using alternative insulation concepts. The demand for state-of-the-art high-voltage infrastructure is growing rapidly worldwide, driven by the energy transition, grid expansion, and the increasing integration of renewable energy sources.
