Prev. Cloud Support @ AWS | IT Graduate at UW | AWS Solutions Architect Professional | Cloud | Networking | DevOps
This summer, I was given the opportunity to intern at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Cloud Support Associate! This was undoubtedly the most I've learned in such a short period of time, and I emerged from it with both improved professional skills and experience in using AWS to create complex infrastructures. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional ย ย ย ย ย 2. AWS Certified AI Practitioner ย ย ย ย ย 3. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate ย โข Learned about using AWS to create solutions using services such as IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, CloudFront, EC2, etc. ย โข Took part in both solo and group projects and labs based on real-world scenarios, such as deploying and managing databases, compute resources, networks, etc. ย โข Connected with engineers and solutions architects for guidance and advice. ย โข Helped out peers and team members whenever possible, ensuring that we all made the most of our internship experience. ๐๐ฎ๐ฝ๐๐๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ท๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ Worked on my project, a HIPAA-compliant web application for secure medical document upload and storage. Designed for healthcare providers, MedSecure ensures patient data remains private, encrypted, and fully isolated from the public internet. This project leverages VPC Transit Gateway and VPC Peering for a private connection over AWS's backbone network. Thank you to all of the peers that helped me out throughout the summer, and a special shout-out to my managers, Jason Brewer and Ranjith Nomula, as well as my Mentor, Adithya Kesineni, for guiding me!
