MAIT for business Today was the official close date for the sale of MAIT for business to Deutsche Beteiligungs AG. During the past 4 years of ownership, MAIT completed 14 acquisitions and its EBITDA more than doubled. It expanded its capabilities, strengthened its relationships with key vendor partners including Siemens, PTC, Abas and Comarch, and broadened its geographic footprint across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Benelux. I would like to thank 3i Group plc for the trust put in me in helping guide those 4 years of MAIT ownership and growth (Michael Specht, Lars Parnet, Tobias Middelkoop , Andre Perwas, Ulf von Haacke), my colleagues in the board for the collaborative and constructive work (Kamyar Niroumand , Michael Kunz) and of course the MAIT management team, that has done an outstanding job executing the plans we jointly developed, course correct where necessary and it has been an absolute honor and pleasure working together with you. We have not only built a better business but also lasting relationships and friendships (Stefan Niehusmann, Axel Schmied, Philipp Närdemann, Gürtler Kurt, Oliver Spölgen, Michael Jäger, Thorsten Walz, Michael Schindler, Peter Jahn) I wish the entire MAIT team the same continued success going forward!!
