This was my father's Alan Wong life blood for a long time. the stories of him in operations visiting the container factories in China and Korea, the paint vendor in Thailand, and the decal company that made the logos in Europe... he would be gone months at a time when we were children. A seemingly simple metal box that is anything but simple, but seeing the advancements of the container assembly is fascinating. hopefully the guy that sprays the bottom of the container has it easier now! From the container, to the ships, to the people, global logistics is a well oiled machine, but the details of how it's done sometimes gets lost in the commotion of trade, but nonetheless, a lot of people and knowledge to keep good moving.
