✨ Sometimes, it’s not the event itself—but the moments in between that stay with you. At the recent UMN Carlson School of Management / University of Minnesota alumni gathering, I found myself in one of those moments. Standing with fellow Global Executive MBA WU Executive Academy graduates—years after we first met—I realized how powerful this network truly is. Different industries, different countries, different paths… yet a shared mindset that still connects us instantly. 🌍🎓 One conversation in particular stood out. We started talking about how our careers have evolved since the program—and quickly ended up discussing something bigger: 
👉 what responsibility leaders carry today
👉 how business decisions shape societies
👉 and why collaboration across borders has never been more important That mindset was reinforced during the keynote by Minnesota’s Governor Tim Walz, who joined us live in Vienna. His message went far beyond politics. It was a reminder that leadership is ultimately about people, opportunity, and the strength of communities. 💡 What I took away from the evening: ✅ Quality of life is more than a “soft factor” – it’s a real competitive advantage
✅ Strong international partnerships create resilience and growth 🌐
✅ Milestones invite reflection—but also responsibility for what comes next
✅ Every country has its highs and lows – progress depends on how we respond
✅ Alumni networks are not just memories—they are active platforms for impact 💭 My personal highlight:
