🇯🇵✨ An inspiring day at the Shizuoka Cancer Center! I had the opportunity to visit the Shizuoka Cancer Center as a guest of Teiichi Sugiura, Chief of the HPB Surgery Department. 💬The day started with the daily multidisciplinary meeting, where complex patient cases were discussed with remarkable depth, precision, and teamwork. It was impressive to witness decision-making at this level. 🤖 I then toured the hospital with @Satoshi Matsui and observed a robotic pancreaticoduodenectomy performed by @Katsuhisa Ohgi, the level of precision surgery firsthand was very inspiring. 🙏 This experience would not have been possible without the support and connections of Sarah Gans Gans and Thomas Van Gulik —a powerful reminder of the importance of collaboration and networking. 📱🌍 And a fun but essential note: the “Translate” app with live translation was a true gamechanger, making communication smooth and effortless throughout the visit!
