It is particularly sad to read that someone who has made a real difference to one’s life has passed away. Les Mills OBE was a New Zealand Olympian who won Commonwealth Gold. He went on to found a fitness franchise found in gyms around the world. Every Saturday I enjoy his Body Attack and Body Combat classes which sell out within a minute of the booking window opening. The classes are open to anyone and combine user friendly choreography with great musical arrangements and some serious sport science. Les went on to become Mayor of Auckland and had a reputation for bringing people together and achieving good things for the City. What a fantastic legacy.
