Es gibt Tage, an denen man als Unternehmer aufhört, die Marke zu erklären. Und einfach nur stolz darauf ist, sie sehen zu dürfen. Heute war so ein Tag. Tag 2 in Shenzhen mit Kömmerling. Werksrundgang am Morgen. Kunden am Tag. Abends mit dem Team an einem Tisch. Zwischen Lager, Finanzabteilung und Produktion bin ich Menschen begegnet, die unseren Standort in China zu dem gemacht haben, was er heute ist: klar, präzise und mit einer Energie, die einen wirklich mitnimmt. Besonders gefreut hat mich, eine Kollegin wiederzusehen, die vor Jahren in unserer Finanzabteilung angefangen hat und heute unsere Operation in China führt. Dass bei uns dort eine Frau an der Spitze steht, macht mich stolz. Und es zeigt, woran ich glaube: Wenn man Menschen Verantwortung gibt, wachsen sie an dieser Verantwortung. Drei Eindrücke, die ich heute mit nach Hause nehme: Wir sind seit 2024 sichtbar gewachsen. Neue Kolleginnen, neue Kollegen, neue Verantwortung in den Teams. Qualität entsteht nicht im Headquarter. Sie entsteht hier, an unseren Maschinen, in unseren Lagern und in jeder Übergabe an unsere Kunden. Ein starkes Team ist die beste Antwort auf jede Marktveränderung. Genau deshalb bauen wir unseren Standort in China weiter aus. Manchmal vergisst man im Tagesgeschäft, wie weit man eigentlich schon gekommen ist. Heute durfte ich es mit eigenen Augen sehen. --------- There are days as an entrepreneur where you stop explaining the brand. And simply feel proud to be able to see it in action. Today was one of those days. Day 2 in Shenzhen with Kömmerling. Factory tour in the morning. Customers throughout the day. The evening at one table with the team. Between warehouse, finance department and production, I met people who have made our China site what it is today: clear, precise and full of energy that truly carries you along. I was especially happy to see a colleague again who started years ago in our finance department and who today leads our operation in China. The fact that a woman stands at the top of our site there makes me proud. And it reflects what I strongly believe: when you give people responsibility, they grow with it. Three impressions I am taking home with me today: We have visibly grown since 2024. New colleagues, new responsibilities, new strength within the teams. Quality doesn’t happen at headquarters. It happens here – at our machines, in our warehouses and in every handover to our customers. A strong team is the best answer to any market change. That is exactly why we continue to expand our site in China. Sometimes, in the middle of everyday business, you forget how far you have already come. Today I had the chance to see it with my own eyes.
