🚀 Rethinking Efficiency: Automated Bag Emptying and Dosing with SmartPick by Sacchi ❓How can manual bag emptying processes be made safer, more ergonomic, and more efficient? The answer lies in the intelligent combination of robotics, automation, and digital planning. 🤖📦 💡 As part of a simulation project at Peter Höing Smart Engineering, we had the opportunity to analyze the SmartPick system from Sacchi and evaluate its performance capabilities. The concept: 🔹 A FANUC Europe robot mounted on a linear rail automatically picks bags directly from pallets. 🔹 Using a patented gripping system, the bags are precisely transferred to a cutting hopper for emptying. 🔹 The entire process is carried out safely, consistently, and with minimal manual intervention. Why systems like this are becoming increasingly important: ✅ Significant reduction of physically demanding lifting and handling tasks ✅ Improved workplace safety through reduced manual interaction with heavy bags ✅ Consistent process quality and repeatable dosing results ✅ Increased equipment availability through automated material feeding ✅ Scalable automation solution for modern production and powder handling processes 🔍 Simulation creates planning confidence Based on the data provided, material flow, cycle times, and process sequences could be analyzed digitally before any physical implementation.
