I have been a software engineer and general man-about-town in related fields for over two decades.
Sourcegraph is hiring! There is an open role on our Code Understanding team for an IC2 Software Engineer! This team owns the products closest to the developer: Code Search, Deep Search, Code Review, Batch Changes, and the APIs that power them. You'll be working closely with your team mates and with design engineers to build user-facing features, working with agentic AI, and shipping across the full stack (Go, TypeScript, React, SvelteKit, GraphQL). What IC2 means at Sourcegraph: You complete assignments with clear, near-term objectives and operate independently on routine tasks. You are task-oriented but gaining and demonstrating independence: your core skills are functional, and you are growing your ability to prioritize and work under broader guidance. You primarily focus on your team's code and architecture, pulling on broader knowledge of Sourcegraph as needed. Read the full role post for more info. If you're excited about shaping how developers navigate and understand massive codebases, we'd love to hear from you! https://lnkd.in/geyBwZcq
