GREEN PERSPECTIVES -Big step for on-site renewable energy at our HQ in Bad Münstereifel: our new ground-mounted PV system is now in operation. As a manufacturing company in the chemical industry, electricity remains a key energy source for us. Alongside ongoing energy-efficiency improvements and our switch to renewable electricity in 2023, investing in on-site generation was the next logical step. Built on previously unused company land next to our office building, the solar power is consumed directly on site and is expected to cover around 11 % of our annual electricity demand.
