šŸ’ø Did you know the prices of consumer electronics will continue rising in the next 2-3 years? We're looking at a 6–40% increase in smartphone prices, 30% for hardware, and 10-20% for PCs and TVs. On top of that, deliveries might be consistently late. This is, of course, due to the explosion of AI data centers (the AI microchip industry doubled and is expected to triple by 2030). The production of AI chips and RAM is drawing companies' attention from producing other electronics, and CE suffers. šŸ€ But the worst is over (or close to over). šŸ€ Unless demand for AI chips jumps by another massive increment while capacities stagnate, prices will only jump incrementally in the next few years. šŸ¤– Alternative: If the AI bubble bursts, manufacturers will return to producing other goods, and prices would fall. But I don't think that's likely - what about you? Thank you Serbian Broadcasting Corporation for hosting me once again. #AI #datacenters #RAM #consumerelectronics
