Scaffolding is now starting to come down at the Pomarium flats as the first phase of a major improvement programme reaches its final stages.   Work began in July 2025 to upgrade all multi-storey blocks in Perth, with significant improvements made to ensure the buildings remain warm, wind and watertight, safe and secure for residents. The work will also transform how the exteriors of the blocks look.   Housing and Social Wellbeing Convener, Councillor Tom McEwan, and the project manager Fraser Davidson, provide an update on progress, while a resident shares how the improvements are already making a difference to daily life.   Phase one of the programme at Pomarium flats is on track for completion in July, with work set to continue at Lickley, Milne and Market Courts, followed by Potterhill as part of the next stages.
