She loved bikes before she could even hold a handlebar. In 2016, Alka Dixit finally started riding and ever since, there was no looking back. As a child, bikes meant freedom, curiosity and a bold act of confidence to Alka. Over time, riding turned into self‑understanding: patience, focus & respect for the road. Planning mattered, but staying steady when plans went out-of-hand, mattered even more. - Long rides taught her to choose consistency over speed. - Breakdowns and bad weather taught resilience. - Riding solo taught her to trust her instincts. One of her proudest milestones was riding from Maharashtra to Kanyakumari. Next up on her wish-list? From Leh to Ladakh.
