Membership organisations often face a difficult balance between member needs and external challenges, adapting to changing circumstances without losing sight of the purpose and value that members rely on.   James Hunt recently chatted to Marco Forgione MCIEx, who reflected on leading The Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade through Brexit, Covid and a period of significant organisational change. Throughout it all, the focus remained on understanding what members needed and how the Institute could support them.   By moving learning online quickly, expanding advisory support and becoming more active in government and policy discussions, the role came out of this period with a stronger role within the trade community, which contributed to them achieving Royal Charter status in 2023. https://lnkd.in/es8yGQQN
