📌 On July 16, 2025, the Turin Court of Appeal confirmed the admissibility of six consolidated collective actions - both class and representative - brought against Stellantis, Groupe PSA Italia, and Automobiles Citroën over defective Takata airbags. The ruling marks a significant milestone in Italy’s collective redress landscape. The ruling fully upholds the decision previously issued by the Court of Turin on April 14, 2025. The actions were brought by individual consumers and several of Italy’s most prominent consumer associations (including Altroconsumo, represented by Studio Legale Bonafede with lawyers Alfonso Bonafede, Fabio De Dominicis, and Paolo Maresca and Prestige Legal & Advisory with lawyers Alberto Gava and Lorenzo Pacella).
