After several years out of work raising her children, Khawaja joined the Restart Scheme in Kent. With support from her Employer Relationships Manager Darren Mellford, sector tasters, and a Level 2 Teaching Assistant course, she rebuilt her confidence and found part-time work at a local school. “Everyone here has been wonderful to me.
