Today is Employability Day 2026. #EmpDay26 Across our teams in England, Scotland and Wales, this week has looked like what it always looks like - Advisors sitting with people, employers coming through our doors, CVs written, applications submitted, and jobs secured. However this week we've really pushed the boat out even further in celebration of Employability Day. And our work goes beyond getting people into employment. So far in 2026, across our Restart contracts in England and Wales, we have helped 130 people launch brand-new businesses. 157 of those entrepreneurs have now reached six months of sustained, gainful self-employment, a testament to their determination and the expert support they received. We are proud of every person in this organisation who shows up and does this work every day. Employability Day exists to shine a light on employment support across the UK.
