This past Monday, PATH convened a group of service providers, government partners, and elected officials in Sacramento to advocate for Homeless Housing, Assistance, and Prevention (HHAP) funding in this year’s state budget. Securing this funding is critical to protecting the progress we’ve made in reducing homelessness. These funds are vital to ensure communities can continue to bring people inside and keep families from losing housing. Without this funding, more people will fall into homelessness — including people we've worked hard to house. A special thank you to the Downtown Women’s Center, Safe Place for Youth, Larkin Street, HOPICS, San Francisco’s Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing, the San Diego Housing Commission, and San Diego City Council President Joe LaCava for standing together in support of solutions.
