On Friday 5th June, the Pensions and Insurance Authority (PIA), represented by Chief Executive Officer and Registrar, Mrs Namakau Ntini, attended the 20th Anniversary Gala Dinner and Commissioner’s Charity Ball hosted by the Insurance and Pensions Commission (IPEC) of Zimbabwe. The event marked the culmination of six months of commemorative activities celebrating two decades of IPEC’s contribution to regulating and safeguarding the interests of insurance policyholders and pension scheme members in Zimbabwe. PIA congratulates IPEC on this significant milestone and commends the Commission for its continued commitment to strengthening the insurance and pensions sector, promoting stakeholder confidence, and advancing financial inclusion. We also applaud the initiative to support insurance education in rural secondary schools through the Commissioner’s Charity Ball, reflecting a shared commitment to empowering future generations through financial literacy.
