We were delighted to welcome 390 policyholders and their guests to the Hilton Gateshead Tyne Bridge in Newcastle this week, for our first policyholder lunch of the year. The event featured a session from guest speaker Sue Hayward, a financial and consumer rights journalist, who shared practical tips to help attendees become more financially savvy consumers, covering everything from consumer rights and scam protection, to getting the best value from financial products. A fantastic team of 24 PIC employees were also in attendance, helping to host our guests and making the day a memorable experience. These events provide a unique opportunity for employees to connect directly with policyholders, hear their stories, and see first-hand the positive impact of PIC's work. For our policyholders, the lunches are much more than an afternoon out. They are an opportunity to reconnect with former colleagues, forge new friendships, and enjoy the sense of belonging that comes from being part of the PIC policyholder community.
