📢 Announcing the South Asia Center's 2025-2026 Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellows! We are proud to support these outstanding students as they deepen their linguistic and cultural knowledge in pursuit of their academic and professional goals. For academic-year awards, the FLAS grant provides graduate students with $18,000 for tuition and a $20,000 stipend, and undergraduate students with $10,000 for tuition and a $5,000 stipend. This grant is critical to building advanced language proficiency and cultural expertise across the United States. The program cultivates the next generation of area specialists who are prepared to meet national needs across the public, private, nonprofit, and for-profit sectors.
