It's time for our Creative of The Month, where we celebrate and platform Penguin Cover Design Award alumni! 📚   This month we're celebrating Kitty Tindall, who was shortlisted in the 2025 Cover Design Award, with her creation of a new design system for Penguin paperback books. Kitty is a multidisciplinary creative 👩‍🎨 ‘I'm a Welsh artist raised in a rural setting, where the quiet gave me space to experiment without expectation. That freedom shaped my instinct to explore, now reflected in a multimedia artistic approach spanning fashion, film, printmaking, image and digital. I consider myself a creative generalist, and that fluidity is my strength! Illustration sits at the core of everything I do - my first language and constant return point. I'm drawn to intense layering, experimental composition, abstract interpretation and most of all - visual storytelling.
