Stronger together, buisness partnerships are important, but the very best ones become so much more than that. When Jasmin H. from VERTEX came over to the UK to see the installation of the HoloBox at Dorset Museum, it was a brilliant moment to reflect on just how much we’ve achieved together over the last nine months. Yes, the technology is exciting. Yes, the projects are pushing boundaries. But what I’m most grateful for is the friendship, trust and unwavering support that sits behind it all. As women in technology and innovation, we need to champion each other. Jasmine has been an incredible supporter throughout this journey, and together we’ve been fortunate enough to pioneer some amazing work that I’ll be sharing over the coming weeks and months. From body scanning through clothing to explore sizing and fit, refining 3D to bringing Lucius the Roman soldier back to life as an interactive holographic experience for visitors at Dorset Museum, we’ve been proving that technology can transform the way people experience heritage, fashion and education. And then there’s Anya Pearson MA, BA (Hons) . Alongside being my fellow Programme Leader Arts University Bournemouth she’s been a constant source of encouragement, perspective and support as we’ve navigated the challenges of building new ideas and creating meaningful opportunities for our students. Through her work with Visible Women UK and her role in creating statues celebrating remarkable women including Mary Anning and Sylvia Townsend Warner, she continues to remind us why representation matters and why innovation should always have purpose. The technology is exciting. The projects are exciting. But the best part of all of this has been building friendships with women who genuinely lift each other up, celebrate each other’s successes and aren’t afraid to dream big together. Watch this space… we’ve only just got started. Love you ladies – you’re absolutely brilliant. ❤️ #WomenInTech #Innovation #DigitalHeritage #AI #Holograms #Collaboration #WomenSupportingWomen #Leadership #InnovationStudio #ArtsUniversityBournemouth
