“You need to focus more.” I hear this a lot. And yes — in the beginning, it’s absolutely true. When you’re building something, focus is non-negotiable. But what many people don’t see is this: 👉 Focus is a phase, not a permanent state. When systems work and teams carry real responsibility, focus no longer means tunnel vision. It means clear attention where it creates the highest leverage. What I also see in many companies: strategy slowly disappears into day-to-day business. Strategy doesn’t happen by accident. And it is not the same as execution. That’s why we’ve made it a ritual: • regular strategy check-ins (monthly) • deeper strategic reviews (yearly) Because you constantly need to ask: Where are we actually going? What deserves energy — and what no longer does? What do we get back for what we give? Some founders thrive in mono-focus. Others thrive in orchestration. Both are valid.
