The earlier you get good at storytelling, the easier every conversation becomes. That's what Avante Price, Founder and CEO of Posh, shared with our co-founder Isaac on Pearl TV. Posh just closed a $37M Series B led by FirstMark. But Avante was the first to admit it wasn't always this smooth. His seed round took six months to close at $3.5M, even with revenue on the table. His read on why? He hadn't sharpened his storytelling early enough. According to him, the shift is huge. A founder who can clearly tell their story raises faster, recruits sharper, and closes deals their product alone couldn't. Every fundraise, recruiting call, and board meeting -- they all compound off the same skill. Most founders treat storytelling as a soft skill to grow into later. Avante's take is the opposite. The earlier you build it, the more every other part of the company benefits - from the people you hire, to the rounds you raise, to the customers you close.
