Peabody attended the first Cross-Agency Assessment Teams (CAATs) meeting with Mayor Kelly Vea Vea and the Coordinator-General Gerard Coggan in Moranbah, an important step toward continuing mining at Centurion Mine beyond 2050. We appreciate the leadership of David Crisafulli MP and Jarrod Bleijie MP in advancing resource projects so we can continue supplying steelmaking coal to our customers and supporting local communities. The Coordinator‑General also visited the proposed mining area north of current operations and the onsite gas power station to see the early gas extraction work underway to improve safety, reduce emissions and support regional energy supply. #BuildingBrighterFutures
