🌍 𝐈𝐊𝐈 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 — 𝐋𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐤𝐚, 𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐚 Projekt-Consult participated today in the official launch of the "Fostering Environmentally and Socially Responsible, Decarbonized, Inclusive and Transformative Value Chains for Critical Energy Transition Minerals in the SADC Region" project in Lusaka, Zambia. The five-year initiative, funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUKN) through the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 (𝐈𝐊𝐈), is led by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) in consortium with AMDC, WITS Enterprise, WWF and partners, and the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR). The project works across six focus countries — DRC, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe — to strengthen ESG compliance, advance decarbonization, and build inclusive, higher-value mineral value chains for critical energy transition minerals.
