Not everything we’re proud of is visible at first glance. 😊 Let’s be honest… very few people stand in front of a modern office building and think: “They must have used some outstanding screws here.” And yet… These are often the very components that determine whether ambitious projects can perform safely for decades to come. The Skypark Business Center near Luxembourg Airport is a perfect example. With over 70,000 m² of gross floor area, approximately 15,000 m³ of structural timber, contemporary architecture by BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group, and one of Europe’s largest hybrid timber buildings currently under construction by Steffen Holzbau S.A., the Skypark Business Center is a landmark project showcasing the future of mass timber construction. Projects like this demonstrate how rapidly mass timber construction is evolving. Today, we’re no longer talking about niche applications but about landmark developments that are shaping the future of the entire construction industry. And that also means greater responsibility for manufacturers of fastening systems. In CLT structures, every detail matters. Fasteners are not merely accessories - they are an integral part of the structural design. They determine how loads are transferred, how durable the connections remain over time, and ultimately how safe the entire structure is. That is why I am particularly pleased that more than 60,000 KLIMAS Wkręt-met fasteners were selected for the CLT floor connections in the Skypark project. For us, this is above all a sign of the trust that the project’s partners have placed in our solutions. For years, I have said that innovation is not simply about developing new products. It is about ensuring that our solutions become part of the world’s most demanding projects and help architects and structural engineers turn bold ideas into reality. That is why every project like this brings me immense satisfaction. Because it proves that Polish technology, Polish engineering, and a Polish brand are playing an increasingly important role in projects that set new standards for modern construction across Europe. Thank you to all our partners for your trust. I am convinced this will not be the last inspiring project where we can proudly say: This is our story too.
