🇵🇱➡️🇩🇰 From Poland’s EU Presidency straight into Denmark’s - with a little help from LEGO bricks! Credit to Michał Goszczyński, who nailed it by pointing out that this LEGO Ideas (the LEGO Group) project fits the moment perfectly: Ignacy Łukasiewicz’s Retro Pharmacy - a tribute to the Polish scientist and oil industry pioneer. Designed by a Polish LEGO fan - Zuzanna Wojtkowska, promoted by Łukasiewicz Research Network, and (hopefully) soon produced by a Danish company. 🧩 The voting is on, and it’s great to see how this idea is sparking interest across borders. This wouldn’t be the first science-inspired LEGO set from Poland. Remember 21340 Tales of the Space Age by Jan Woźnica - a stunning, minimalist set inspired by the Space Race that became an official LEGO product. Today, this set resonates even more, as Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski, the second Polish astronaut, has just returned from his mission in space. 💡 So here’s my question to you: What would be the most “Polish” LEGO set ever? For me - so far - it’s the A-Frame Cabin (21338), also born on LEGO Ideas, which brings back memories of the classic Brda cabins from the past. But I’m sure there are many more ideas and polish stories waiting to be told with LEGO bricks.
