Paseo Santa Fe corridor, a north-south major street that is primarily fronted by commercial land uses with some residential pockets, enhanced with Silva Cells for underground bioretention under sidewalks lined with street trees. Progressive design considered to leverage both expertise and experience with Silva Cells to mimic its success and extend it to the Townsite Drive/W. Los Angeles Drive, an important east west pedestrian and bicycle corridor/school route with an incomplete sidewalk network, long blocks without safe crossing locations and experiences high motor vehicle speeds.
