Today at Rosherville CE Academy Primary School, Northfleet, Kent, we delivered our third and fourth Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE) workshops to Key Stage 2 pupils — first with Year 6 and then Year 5. 🎓🏫 It was great to continue where we left off on Tuesday. What always stands out to me is how quickly young people grasp complex subjects, confidently explaining concepts such as debt bondage and joint enterprise. 💡👏 One of the most impactful parts of the session is always the grooming practical exercise, which highlights just how easily people can be manipulated through emotions and seemingly harmless situations. 🎭🧠 What I enjoy most is seeing classmates support one another, encouraging their peers to do the right thing, speak up, and say no. 🗣️🤝👏 Those moments show the real value of prevention and education. There was fantastic engagement throughout the day, with lots of thoughtful questions and contributions. ⭐🙌 I thoroughly enjoyed delivering the workshops alongside Sosa. We even had a 🐝 and a 🕷️ incident to keep us on our toes and provide a little unexpected excitement during the sessions! 😅 Helping young people recognise exploitation, understand risks, and build the confidence to seek support is a vital part of safeguarding and prevention work. 🛡️🚸 Lovely feedback from one of the teachers “that’s honestly the best session we have ever had here and thank you so much as it’s so important “💖 Magali van der Merwe Diocese of Rochester Lois Bosatta #Safeguarding #Education #ChildCriminalExploitation #CCE #CountyLines #ModernSlavery #ChildProtection #ExploitationAwareness #PreventionEducation #EarlyIntervention #KeepingChildrenSafe #YouthEmpowerment #Schools #CommunitySafety #Northfleet #Kent #WorkingTogether #PositiveOutcomes 🚸🛡️📚💙
