I’ve often thought that the fascination with academic education the UK totally ignores the vocational ambitions and qualities of so many young people. This applies to all levels secondary/ KS3 onwards. Beyond proud of my son Benjamin Hienkens-Lewis who, following a brilliant time at Christ's College, Guildford, is doing brilliantly in his job while also in education. A prime example of how you can work towards an academic qualification via the vocational journey of an Apprenticeship Degree.
