I'm delighted to share my latest article published in Facade Today. In "Rethinking Glass: Can Biomimicry Enable Climate-Adaptive Façade Retrofits?", I explore how nature-inspired design principles and Climate Adaptive Building Shells (CABS) can help transform existing glazed buildings into more resilient, low-carbon and energy-efficient assets. This article builds on the research developed during my MSc in Environmental Design & Engineering at The Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources, UCL, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Marcella Ucci. I'm always excited to contribute to research and innovation that bridges the gap between academic knowledge and industry practice, helping to advance more climate-responsive building solutions.
