Joseph Shabalala, founder of Grammy award-winning Ladysmith Black Mambazo, has died at the age of 78. He created the group in the 1960s in the hopes of using music as a vehicle to unite South Africans during the apartheid. He did more than that, bringing the world to his music. I love this group growing up and still listen to their songs till now. My favorite song was "Diamonds in the Sole of Her Shoes" Lala Ngoxolo Shabalala!
