Managing Director at Accenture | Lead, Americas, Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity

One of the most exciting days of my entire career. I have been lucky enough to spend that career securing critical infrastructure: the energy, water, power, manufacturing plants, data centers, and all of the other operating assets that make the world around us work. Over the past 10 years at Accenture, I've had the privilege of helping build what I believe is the largest and best OT security team in the world, alongside people who truly believe in the mission to secure critical infrastructure. Today, we took a major step in that journey. This morning, Accenture agreed to acquire a majority stake in Dragos, Inc., along with all of runZero and NetRise, at a combined enterprise value of $4.175 billion. It's incredible how far we've come as an industry. To my colleagues and mentors, to all of those across the industry who struggled with this problem when it didn't have a name, when we didn't have sponsorship, when no real budgets existed, when we had no standards, when solutions were cobbled together from IT tools, thank you for pushing us forward. Unfortunately, OT threats are no longer theoretical, but because of you, the solutions are no longer experiments. Together, the capabilities of Dragos, runZero, and NetRise will give industrial and critical infrastructure operators one place to see everything on their OT network, understand what's running on it, and help stop what's attacking it. As AI-driven threats and geopolitical risk accelerate, this is the moment that our work has been building toward. I can't wait to bring it to our clients at scale. It's time for the real work to start. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gQHXs-Pj Robert M.
