A star is born! Adelaide's teenage sensation Nestory Irankunda announced himself to the world with a brilliant free kick in the top corner to deliver a win for Watford in his first starting game. Irankunda has Burundian heritage and was born in a refugee camp in Tanzania before moving to Adelaide. After signing for Adelaide United at 15, Irankunda has done his apprenticeship - first a year at Bayern Munich and then with Zurich Grasshoppers in Switzerland. The 19 year old is now filling Watford fans with hope after his brilliant performance and match winning free kick to down Swansea 1-0 in the Championship. He's fast, fearless, a fearsome striker of the ball and plays with contagious joy. He's also not short on confidence and after the match said of his perfect free kick: “Our captain Moussa Sissoko asked me a couple of times ‘are you sure you can take free-kicks?" “I said ‘yeah go look at my highlight reels!" “After I just put it into the corner” He's a special player destined to do great things and great to see A-League talent shining in Europe. Go well Nestory! #Nestory 🇦🇺 🇧🇮 #TopBins ⚽ #WatfordFC Credit: Watford FC
