Searching for the next landscape Every new series begins with uncertainty. For years, lines have been the language of my Lebenslinien series. They carried movement, memory and transformation. Recently, these same lines have started to lead me somewhere unexpected. They no longer only describe movement – they begin to reveal imagined landscapes. Not places I have seen, but places reconstructed through memory, intuition and lived experience. In the studio, I don’t try to control this process. I follow it. Every painting leaves traces that become the starting point of the next one. This work is still evolving, but it already feels like the beginning of a new chapter.
