Who is shaping the future of pasture-based farming? Every year, the Russ Carrington Award for Best Newcomer recognises an individual bringing fresh thinking and positive impact to pasture-based farming. The Russ Carrington award recognises newcomers who are making a difference, often while navigating the significant challenges of accessing land, finance, training and support. We're looking for nominations from across the sector. They might be: A farmer building a pasture-based business A consultant helping others make positive changes A vet championing livestock health and welfare An adviser, educator or communicator inspiring others Someone whose enthusiasm and determination are helping move the industry forward.
