The disruption of shipping through the Strait of Hormuz is forcing companies across the Gulf to rapidly rethink their supply chains. With many vessels unable to reach major ports such as Jebel Ali, cargo is being diverted to alternative hubs like Fujairah, Khor Fakkan, and Sohar, where shipments are then moved overland by truck to their final destinations.
