🚨 FirstGenDoctors is growing our outreach team, and we’d love for you to join us. FGD was created to support first-generation and widening participation students on their journey into and through medicine. As our community continues to grow, we’re expanding the team helping us deliver outreach directly into schools and communities. We’re currently recruiting for three voluntary roles: 📚 Volunteer & Delivery Coordinator Perfect for someone interested in volunteering, operations, logistics or project coordination. You’ll help coordinate volunteers, support session delivery, manage scheduling and make sure outreach sessions run smoothly. 🏫 School Partnership & Outreach Officer Ideal for someone interested in outreach, communications and partnership building. You’ll help us connect with schools, build relationships, secure outreach opportunities and expand the number of students we can reach. ✍️ Content Writer Great for someone interested in education, writing, teaching or presentation design. You’ll help create engaging outreach resources and slide decks that support volunteers to deliver high-quality sessions to school students. Why join us? Because widening participation has to be more than a conversation. It has to translate into action, access and real opportunities for students who may not have the networks, guidance or representation they need to see medicine as possible. These roles are a chance to build meaningful experience in outreach, education, operations, communications and community impact, while contributing to a growing grassroots organisation working to improve access to medicine. ‼️ Please note: these are currently voluntary positions. As FirstGenDoctors grows, we hope to introduce paid opportunities and/or reward structures in the future, subject to organisational growth and funding.
