Many people living with Parkinson’s experience slowness of movement or bradykinesia as a symptom. This may present differently for different people and can include a lack of co-ordination, finding your movements become smaller, and feeling more tired. There are many things that may help with slowness of movement such as taking your Parkinson’s medication and staying physically active. Physical activity can help you to regain the normal size of your movements and build strength and endurance. This can be challenging and may take more effort so it is important to take things at your own pace and seek medical support from your doctor or healthcare professional. If you or someone you love is experiencing this and you’d like to talk to someone, our helpline is always here. Please do give us a call on 0808 800 0303 💙
