From working with our incredible designer, Arit Anderson, and our Head Gardeners to winning the People’s Choice Award, and reaching millions of people to raise important awareness of Parkinson’s, the Parkinson’s UK - A Garden for Every Parkinson’s Journey will not be forgotten. Our journey through the Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show has been truly extraordinary. And we’re pleased to share that the relocation to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford is now underway, and important groundwork is happening to ensure our garden will thrive for years to come. We’re delighted the garden will continue to raise awareness of Parkinson’s as well as provide respite and refuge to all who visit. Every 20 minutes, someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s in the UK. By 2050, the number of people with Parkinson’s worldwide will double to 25 million. This opportunity has been instrumental in sharing that message far and wide and educating people about this often misunderstood condition. It’s also provided us with a unique chance to rally support to work towards finding the cause, discovering a cure and developing better treatments faster. All made possible by our garden sponsors, Project Giving Back. Thank you. 🌹
