We interviewed someone so good we refused to give her the job she applied for. She's from Pakistan. BSc in Economics. HubSpot certified, Meta certified, GHL certified. She's done content strategy, B2B lead gen, cold outreach, business reporting, email marketing, basically anything you throw at her she's already done it somewhere. She applied for a role with one of our clients and on paper she was a great fit. But once we actually got on a call with her and heard how she thinks, we knew we couldn't let her take it. She was way too good for it. So we did something most recruiters would never do. We told her to wait. That's a weird thing to hear from a recruiter. The whole job is to fill roles fast. But sometimes you talk to someone and you just know they belong somewhere bigger. We went and found her a role with an Amazon growth company that actually matched what she's capable of. Better company, better fit, better trajectory. That's the thing about having a deep talent pool. Sometimes the best move isn't placing someone in the first role that fits. It's knowing when someone deserves better and having the pipeline to actually make it happen.
