Welcome Anita, Sinja and Francesco to ParityQC! Anita Weidinger completed both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the Technical University of Graz. Already strongly interested in quantum computing, she wrote her master’s thesis on quantum annealing at the Universität Innsbruck under the supervision of Wolfgang Lechner. She then continued to pursue her PhD in his group, shifting her focus toward digital quantum algorithms, particularly QAOA. At ParityQC, she is looking forward to applying her expertise in the Co-Design department. Sinja Burgemeister holds an MSc in Strategic Management with a focus on Brand Building and Brand Communication from the Universität Innsbruck. Her career so far has covered copywriting, content strategy and SEO & SEA, with marketing and brand strategy at the core — combined with hands-on experience in building social media presence, content creation and publication. At ParityQC, Sinja is joining the Operations team as Communications & Marketing Manager — making sure that marketing and communication work in parity, too. Francesco Troisi is a quantum engineer with a degree from Politecnico di Milano. He later got his PhD in Theoretical Physics at the MPI for the Structure and Dynamics of Matter in Hamburg, where he focused on the field of cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED). His journey in quantum computing began during his graduate studies with a collaboration with IBM Research to explore strategies to efficiently simulate QED systems on quantum hardware, while also developing and maintaining open-source Qiskit repositories. With a dual background in physics and web development, at ParityQC he will develop quantum software and solutions in the ParityOS department. We are growing - and we are hiring!
