✨ Life Update: I'm joining TwelveLabs as VP of Engineering 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐓𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐬? From my very first conversation with the team, several things leapt out at me: - The company’s vision—to change the way we understand the visual world by empowering humans and machines to see the unseen—is both audacious and imperative. - Video is ~90 % of the world’s data. Yet most of it sits in cold storage, effectively invisible. - Vision is our first language. Our earliest memories aren't words - they are moving pictures. Language abstracts reality but vision 𝘪𝘴 reality. There is a reason why evolution discovered vision! - Deep real-time, actionable understanding across domains and embodiments is the next frontier. Twelve Labs is laser-focused on turning raw footage into instantly searchable knowledge & insight - at scale, across industries.
