The Dedication of First Responders Should Never be Forgotten...... When the bang occurs & the flames & smoke are choking who are the first to head into that to save lives & take control??? Highly trained, accredited & compliant First Responders are so please make sure your teams are trained correctly in how to manage a situation from the assessment to the closeout its critical to have the very best qualified persons to deliver a safe outcome. Our thoughts are with the Seventeen Sailors & Four Civilians that have been injured in the explosion & subsequent fire that has taken hold on the US naval ship the USS Bonhomme Richard. Both Federal Fire Department San Diego firefighters & US Navy sailors/ Emergency Response crew have continued tackling the fire on board but this will be a tough job and many men & women will be involved.
